“One chart to rule them All”

The US is running the largest deficit of the past many decades outside of GFC at -4.7% of GDP.
Contrary to what was seen in previous periods of economic expansion, where deficits mostly decreased over time, the deficit has been expanding at a relatively high +0.60% year-over-year pace since the end of the Obama administration.

Inflation could block the party, but in my view is unlikely to show up if Japan and Europe are examples.
